International Trails Day is an annual celebration of trails, trail development and the healthy lifestyle they encourage.  It is celebrated each year on the first Saturday in June. This year, 2013 is the 11th annual celebration.  The public is encouraged to join in the celebration on Saturday, June 1st by attending one of the community events listed at www.internationaltrailsday.com.  If you have an event you would like to have posted to this site, simply email the details to vanda@novascotiatrails.com.
 
Another way to get involved and join in the celebration is to participate in our Metre Sales Program.  Through NS Trails you can purchase a symbolic metre of trail with a donation of $40 per metre. Your donation will be recognized with a personalized trail certificate. The Metre Sales Program helps our community trail groups to build new trails and maintain existing trails in the province.  Call 902-718-6424 for more details.
